Vestibule removal

Hi, I’m sure this topic has been discussed time and again. Any advice on pros and cons of removing the second set of doors (vestibule) on the parlor level of the brownstone? Husband is keen to make the space more seamless and I’m on the fence coz I appreciate the advantages of having a second set of doors (insulation, security etc) but wanted to hear thoughts from this forum. Seems an aesthetic choice, but I personally never remove the doors. Open concept is a shitty fad that I hope soon dies.

Why don’t you take the door off for a while to see how you like the effect? Easy to put it back or move on to the ‘seamless’ look.
