Low E glass. Low-E .30 / .18\. Meaning of the numbers?
I am checking a ThermaTru door and the best glass they offer is a Low-E .30 / .18. How good is this glass, compared for example with a triple pane glass? Any big difference? I am trying to get the best reasonable priced glass door.

Low-E glass typically costs about 15% more than ordinary glass, but it reduces energy use by as much as 30-50%, by using most of the heat gain in winter but keep the harmful UV rays out during the summer, and when used in insulated glass units – can have even better benefits.

This is probably SHGC (solar heat gain cooefficient) but tough to tell without more information.
