In search of woodworker for a few projects (door repair, etc.)

Hello all. After trying to make contact with a couple highly recommended woodworkers in my neighborhood, I’m still searching for somebody. I’m looking to have a repair done on one of my front brownstone doors. (Would love to do a complete restoration, but that’s not in the budget right now). I’m also looking to have the wood frames repaired on a pair of leaded glass doors that go to a shelved mantlepiece. And I’m interested in having some interior doors copied/fabricated. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!

I was one of the people in the class. It was super interesting and its pretty amazing what you can do to renovate wood yourself with some instruction. If you look around at pricing and find its more than you’re hoping to spend (and/or you like diy), you should try to get to one of his classes.

I rebuild doors as well but if a door needs some simple repairs or refinishing, i taught a class for beginners yesterday here. I taught sanding, staining, top coating, some epoxy work. I suspect the people who attended were a little surprised at what they learned in an afternoon and i am almost certain we’ll hear from them on this board. If others on here ask me to run another class, i will.
