Brownstone front doors, salvage or made?
I’ve looked for past posts on this, but most are from years ago and the landscape changes (for example, sadly, Eddie’s shop is no longer down the street from us, does he have a new location?); We’re putting on a stoop (so we don’t have any currently that we can use) and of course new doors on our Clinton Hill house, and need some landmark approved doors (2 outer one inner). What are some good resources for reasonably-priced salvage doors (landmark-friendly) or possibly someone who fabricates them in case we don’t find any that work. We’ll probably check out Olde Good things and Irreplaceable, but those places seem really pricey for something not “one of a kind” like this. Any suggestions welcome, thanks!!

Eddie is on Utica and Atlantic now. New doors don’t have the right look in my opinion.

http://www.thetinkerswagon.com/ can fabricate new doors, but it is not inexpensive.
