Toilet Backflow Preventer
Has anyone had a toilet backflow preventer installed? I need something and have researched some different products, from the sudsnflood to the standard in line installed backflow preventer. I will not be able to make an access hatch to the inline preventer, so it’s maintenance through the plumbing lines itself will be key. That’s kind of why I was considering the sudsnfloods- it seems kind of homegrown, but like an end user product as opposed to a plumber’s product.

Master Plumber- yes it was that thing… But I found another product online that was like the flap section of an inline backflow that you connect right at the base and the ring. Take a look: http://www.snake-rat-frog-in-toilet.com/ I know we tread dangerously on code sometimes, but in RH Code goes out the window when it comes to keeping your house dry.

This thing, you mean? http://www.sudsnfloodtamer.com/. It looks like nothing but trouble.

you do not need to install back flow preventer for toilet. it is build in by design and called air gap.
