Seeking good but inexpensive plumber for boiler problem

Hello, I am having some problems with my boiler. It is a gas boiler. Hopefully it is not too serious. I am seeking an honest and resonably priced plumber who knows his stuff and would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks.

Hi Athena, Did you use any of these recommendations?  Just wondering how it went…we are also having problems with our boiler, the pilot light keeps going out.  And already we had one guy come (from a brownstoner recommendation) about a different thermostat issue who overcharged us for a simple problem.  Please let me know if you had a good experience. thanks

I used Joe Kerrigan 718 697-0000\.  I recommended him to another poster who had to shut off one of her radiators.  He’s very good at diagnosing and solving heating problems.  I tried several other plumbers first who charged me but never solved the problem.
