Peter Dymond is exceptional.  Nice, hard working, honest, incredibly cheap.  He has done a ton of work for me and never goes wrong.  He comes out in emergencies without overcharging.  Plus, you have the satisfaction of giving money to an englishman.  I make it a personal rule to never post on these things or do anything for anyone else but I have to make an exception for this guy.  I found him on brownstoner so search around for corroboration and contact info!

Gateway installed my new boiler 2 yrs ago. I have quiet even heat in my house now and they left my basement cleaner than it was before they got there. True professionals.

we’ve used Stanley Lewis for years and like him a lot. My mom finally tried him and he fixed a drain that had gurgled for years that another plumber told her could not be fixed.
