Cost of sprinkler system

I have 2 family, 4 story brownstone house with fire escape. I have sprinkler connection and I am paying monthly bills for that. I realised I have 2 choices either get permit from DOB and disconnect it and for that I need to hire a plumber and dig up the street to disconnt it from main line or I can install sprinkler system in the house. How much will it cost if i install sprinklers in hallways ?
