Help, truck vs tree, truck won....now what?

Earlier today a Foodbank semi trailer truck pulled out of its parking space and demolished the 40′ “little leaf linden” – Tilia cordata outside our building earlier today. I’ve been given a list of approved contractors who can apply to install the replacement tree but is there anyone on this list that you Browstoners would reccomend to use….or to stay away from? I made an appointment for Dragonetti Bros this morning between 9-11am……called to follow up at 11am why they didnt come/what time they were coming if running late etc,

lol….”its ok i dont need to come i googled your address online” was the response i got.

what a joke!!

What a waste of my time this morning.

Anyone want to reccomend a company who is interested in this work and not going to jerk me around.

Dragonetti Bros is good – worked out well for tree removal work I had done. They gave a quote on replacement trees (on my property, not street trees) that was higher than I expected & I ended up getting a tree from Shannon delivered and dropped in a hole I dug myself. If the truck’s insurance is picking up the tab you may not care about going with the cheapest possible option.
