Mortgage Broker Recommendation

I recently had the pleasure to work with Vanessa Thatcher from Atlantic Home Capital to refinance my house in Park Slope.  Back in ’08 I refinanced with another broker and it took 3 months from start to finish.  Needless to say with the rates as low as they are now, I was eager to take advantage but not deal with the hassels of the whole process.  Vanessa was responsive, deligient and professional…all things needed for this type of transaction.  She helped me close this in 1 month and the closing lawyer even came to the house for the signing of the paperwork.  Her number is 631-687-3510 x106.

I second the rec. My husband and I just completed our first condo purchase using Vanessa Thatcher. She was fantastic from start to finish, and even a month after closing, she went to bat for us to help us get a refund on our condo insurance, which was double-paid. She got us a much lower interest rate than any of the banks, and she was far and away more competent and efficient than other members of the bank that we had previously dealt with.
