recommendation for metal worker?

Hello — we have a LOT of metal work to be done on our reno, but our GC has just told us “he doesn’t really have a metal guy” so now we need to find our own. Some of the work we need done is standard – metal gates for the front doors, for example, but some of it may require some creativity – a very narrow, custom size spiral staircase to a roof hatch; a metal balcony off the parlor level; steel cable stair railings, etc.I’d like to hire the same person/company to do it all, to save some effort on my part, but with such a big and complex job I also want to be sure we’re getting a good, reliable, and not TOO expensive company.  🙂  Impossible? Or any recommendations? Many thanks! e

Ferra Design ferradesigns.com 718-852-8629 While shopping around a fence I designed for my own coop building, I spoke with Rob Ferraroni and three other metal workers.  While not being the highest priced, Rob’s service was far and away superior.  He analyzed my design in exhaustive detail, recommended the most long-lasting materials and installation methods, and proved his computer-programmed (CNC) equipment would execute multiple sections precisely and efficiently in what ever type of metal we chose.  This is quite a different service from the guys with the usual welding torches and grinders.
