Ikea - Traemande

Traemande will no longer install Ikea kitchens in the new york region from the middle of June 2012\.  Their territory is being changed.  Osprey will be assigned as their replacement. What’s interesting about all of this is Osprey will be charging 1/3 less per cabinet than Traemande. Traemande charges $149\. per cabinet.  Osprey charge is $99 each. This whole set-up is mystifying. I need Ikea kitchen cabinets installed.  The boxes are in the apartment.   There is also prep work involved.  Minor demolition, skim coating, painting. and of course ceramic floor tiling. Any reccommendations? Thank you.

I highly recommend John Martinez at Drill4U. He assembled a lot of our Ikea furniture a giant PAX wardrobe and does all Ikea merchandise, including kitchens. In fact, he is who Ikea themselves hired to put together their floor displays at the stores. He is fantastic to work with and very reasonable: www.drill4you.com I can’t recommend him highly enough and wish I knew about him when we had Traemand install our Ikea kitchen a few years back.
