HVAC Unit Insurance

Hello, Does anyone know an insurance company that might cover the HVAC Fan Coil Units in our apartment? We have five units in total in our condo, and our HOA has negotiated a service plan that covers service and routine maintence. The problem is the cost is very high for five units, I’d rather spend that money with a real HVAC Insurance Policy that would cover the units and labor. Anyone know about this? Thanks, Andrew

What you are asking for is not an insurance product.  Insurance covers unexpected losses not maintenance or breakdowns of equipment.  You would be looking for a service plan like the one negotiated.  You could also shop around for a warranty plan, but most won’t cover the expenive partts or the parts likely to need replacement.
