cost of insurance on four family building

we have a 4 family that we occupy presently, but we are considering moving out and renting the property out in full. what kind of insurance must we carrry? how much should it run us a year? we are getting quotes but don’t want to get fleeced. thanks in advance for any thoughts!

So you currently have no tenants? You need commerical multifamily insurance and an umbrella policy.  Also get some quotes with insurance brokers.
