Agency vs Broker

Hi

In looking at an insurance quote, what is the difference in working with an agency such as the Brownstone Agency vs with an Insurance Broker. I’m told the Brownstone agency servers both individuals and brokers. Would the quote received be any different in the commission or markup?

Perhaps I misunderstood your question, but I’ve had insurance through Brownstone Agency for 50 years amd always thought they were a broker. They’ve changed the company used for thir insurance mant times over the years.
