Above Ground Oil Tank Inspection

My insurance broker called me and said that my insurance company wants my above ground oil tank to be inspected  for leaks. Is this normal procedure? Anybody has any recommendations for this service? Google search only just shows tank removal nothing for inspections. Thanks.

Oil tank tightness tests are pretty standard. NYS requires a licensed tank testing contractor at specific intervals. You can find some companies on line. I’d also try oil companies for contractor leads.
