Need handyman recommendation - Bed Stuy area

Hey all, My current handyman is incredibly busy these days, and is no longer available without a month notice or more. I have some immediate work to be done before the winter: radiator angle valve replacements, and some window seal+balance replacements. Does anyone have anyone they’d recommend who’s reliable and doesn’t charge contractor rates? Thanks

I had a good experience with Ruben – 917 995 8290\. He was recommended by a guy who lives a block down from me on Macon St. Not sure if he covers what you need (he stripped and painted my front ironwork and did some minor masonry work), but he was reliable and reasonable on price. Ben

try rick ladd. but I should let you know that most handymen do not have the tool which is used to adjust the balances in the windows. I used to do these but no longer have the time and focus only on old doors now. Steve
