Need good/trustworthy painter

Hi! I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for a good, clean and trustworthy painter (reasonable rates would make it even better). We need to start painting different rooms in our house. Thanks!

I have a great guy who works very reasonably. Punctual, neat and really appreciates working & cares about doing good work. He speaks little English, so if you don’t speak a little Spanish have him come and look at the job to discuss. He painted 2 floors of our brownstone including the windows. Highly recommend Jamie Grubb.  He has been listed here by other people several times. He and his team do great work and he was excellent at communication.  Always returned phone calls/emails promptly and explained the project and costs thoroughly.  In addition to painting, they were able to repair walls and plaster crown molding.   His number is (917) 446-5157.

I just used Daniel Rodriguez and he did a great job. He painted two floors for me. Was reliable and conscientious.  Also, thought his prices were reasonable. His number: 347-840-0198. You can tell him Peter sent you. 😉

High recommendation for Clayon Levy: 646-207-8852\. He painted our 2-Br apartment, but we in sections over a period of about a year, so we feel like we worked with him several times on several different jobs. He’s careful, thoughtful, a serious professional–and reasonable. (He may insist on using Benjamin Moore, so hope that’s okay with you!) Came to us recommended by a house-owning friend and turned out to have done another apt. in our building and have painted that friend’s corporate offices, and everyone has the same opinion.
