Blinds need to be installed - references?

I ordered custom wood Levelor blinds from Lowe’s. I did the measurements, and they were delivered to my apt. When I returned to Lowe’s to schedule someone to install the blinds, Lowe’s told me they can’t
put up blinds when they didn’t take the measurements. Not sure why they didn’t inform me of that
before I ordered the blinds, but I would like to find someone who can put them up on FOUR apt windows in Park Slope. Anyone have recommendations for someone who can get this done? Obviously, this isn’t complicated, but a lot of people have excellent references here. Thanks.

Like the others above I agree installig wood blinds is not so difficult. They come with 2 box brackets that have a part that opens where you slide the blind inside. Sometimes if the blinds are too wide you will need an extra middle bracket. Also depending on your window, in most cases you can install them to the sides of the window and do not need to drill to to a ceiling that may be concrete.

If you can eat cereal unattended you can install blinds.  If you can’t for some reason, or just don’t have the time or inclination – any of the handymen on this site can do it..  you don’t even need one with excellent ratings for this level job 🙂

do you own a cordless drill? all the hardware comes with the blinds. It’s about as easy as hanging a picture frame.
