furniture maker/wood worker

I have a design for a bench/stool for my apartment that I need to be excuted in wood.  One part can be turned on a lathe [over 9 inches wide though] and the rest I just need pieces cut to make a squarish shape.  Thought maybe there was a message board/etsy type listing etc. Aside from craigslist, any thoughts on where to find a few people that might help?

perhaps 3rd Ward? You can rent access to their woodshop and do the cuts there
