house number lab??

Has anyone used the numbers from The House Number Lab? Are they easy to do it yourself? I’m looking for similar looking house numbers, without breaking the bank.

I used House Number Lab in April 2012\. Great DIY experience. I ordered online, they emailed a proof, the final arrived as expected. I’m not very handy but was able to follow their video instructions. The results look awesome and authentically “classic”. I’m very pleased and highly recommend them. Great product. I think it was money well spent for a quality look.

Hi All – to answer both of your questions: 1\. We’ve developed a proprietary installation method that enables an inexperienced person to install our commercial quality numbers flawlessly, every time. We’ve had zero returns since developing this methodology. 2\. Our custom numbers are well priced considering they are truly custom, come with an architectural grade proof, application tools and can be quite substantial in size. That said, everyone has a budget and we’ve been working on some stock numbers that will be more affordable. They are not on the website yet but if you are interested in getting some, send me an email (glenn[at]housenumberlab[dot]com) and I’ll send you the information and some images. To all of our Brooklyn customers, thank you for letting us address your beautiful homes! Renovation success to all!

The house number lab products are beautiful, but I needed a cheaper option. Take a look at this website, scroll down to the transom number information: http://rowhousecreative.blogspot.com/2007/09/painted-brick-rowhouse-finished.html Hand-painting the numbers seems like a great do-it-yourself alternative.
