Brownstone facade replacement -- any receommended companies?

I used Excellent as well. Its been almost 2 years and I am very pleased with the work that they have done on my brownstone. They are not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but their work is top notch with a lot of time and attention given to the slightest details. They have done my cousins brownstone in park slope as well and I hired them based on his recommendations. He is a developer and has worked on many brownstones.

We had a very good experience two years ago with Donald Morgan: 646-797-1053\. Small, family business — he works with his son and a couple of other guys. No website, no online reviews, just word of mouth. He has done 3 houses on our Prospect Heights block in as many years. Great brownstone work: color, texture of finish, recreating incised detail all excellent. My only complaints were that the painting (window frames, cornice etc) was a little sloppy and they tore a couple of our screens. But that’s minor compared to the actual facade work. This is expensive work but his quote was the best we received: $28k for our 3-storey house (not including the stoop which we had redone a few years earlier).

Assuming this is a restoration project.  I’ve worked with NYC Restorations (Contact: Aureliano Ribeiro, 917-353-0708).  The crew did beautiful work, including new details where the original had eroded to nothing.

Our brownstone facade was painted before we bought the house in bedford stuyvesant.We dont like paint on the bronstone facade so we decide to clean and repair facade.Hamid construction did the project and also resurfaced stoops.He painted cornice, windows and fences in the year of 2006.The facade look like just repaired, we can’t find any problem yet.I think you may call him to get estimate. Excellent Contracting (718-502-4414). Hired them last year to restore my brownstone facade. Scratch coat is completed and brownstone coat will be done later this year. I am really satisfied with the quality of their work. The contractor is very pleasant to work with. Painted my cornice for free!
