Sap Dripping From Old (100+ years) Pine Support Beam

I am seeing what I think is a small amount of sap dripping onto the floor in basement closet. Inspect the beam I can’t find the source, though tat’s one section of that’s not in gret shape, and warped. Late winter the radiator above leaked a significant amount of water which came down on the beam. Could the water cause the old pine to drip sap? Thanks for any feedback.
