new garage roof.

we are in a new house in kensington and our insurance company has informed us that we need to get our garage roof taken down and replaced, does anyone have any experience with someone who could do this type of job.   Thanks

Thanks, to clarify the garage roof is very old and we knew it would need replacing but that was way down our list of things to do as we dont use it. Thanks for the recommendation.

I have never heard of an insurance company requiring something like this.  Is this common?  I find it strange and none of their business to require repairs.
