Landmark requirements for roof deck?

I would like to build a roof deck on the extension of our brownstone, and I have been told that Landmarks requires only certain materials be used– metal vs. wood, etc. I cannot find any information about this on the LPC website. Does anyone know what you can build a roof deck with on a landmarked brownstone? Thanks.

In general, unless you can see it from the street, LPC will not care what it is built of. You will need to comply with zoning and fire for DOB.

Have you try checked out landmark website? From my experience, I have only seen roof decks on landmarks brownstone built with wood. with metal handrails which was installed by us.
