Exterior door plus steps to garden - contractor wanted

I need a hole made and door place in rear of the building on the second floor and steps (probably wooden) put in to reach the garden. Does anyone have any recommendations of who to reach out to for this work? Thanks.

not an answer, but a related question.  would a stair only be required to be steel?  or since it’s not a deck or porch, can it be wood?  I’ve looked in the building code and it’s not clear.

We had a window on the parlor level replaced with a door and transom. Everything was done at the same level as the floor, and is aligned with the windows next to it.
