Deck system and roofing compatibility
We’re looking to replace the roofing of our brownstone and build a new deck as well, does anyone know how/where to find information on how to choose a decking support system that won’t void the new roofing warranty? I’ve looked in all the archives but can’t find anything on this. Many thanks!

You can either go with a Bison Pedestal system with custom built IPE or coposite deck tiles, or a modular system with removable sections, for more information call (800) 659-5834 or visit http://www.citydecksny.com these systems are easy on the roof and wont void warranty, however each company does have their own policy like huesos above has stated, so I would suggest you get it in writing.

Why don’t you simply call the company that did the roof. Each company seems to have their own policy.
