Architect recommendation for roofdeck?

Hi, I’m looking for an architect recommendation to deck our roof. I’ve contacted about 10 architects recommended by various acquaintances and have only heard back from one in total. Is that typical?

Did you end up finding someone? We’d like to replace our deck here in Brooklyn heights next year but looking for someone with experience in using a metal beam to do a “wall to wall” support that is pocketed into the walls as we don’t want it resting on the roof below like it is currently designed to do.
