Where to find info on developer?

Currently looking at a 2 family constructed in 2008 near the Morgan area of Bushwick. It’s repped by Elliman, but when I inquired about who the developer was and if they had done any previous projects, the agent kind of stalled. I eventually got a name but its a corporation – DSD Homes Corp. Does anyone know how I might be able to research them? Is this even something I should bother with? I’m mostly concerned about build quality. Would I be better off just trying to find a professional who can give an outside perspective on the construction? If so, what kind of pro should I look for? First time buyer, obviously. Thanks for any advice.

if you go to the ny state corpoate data base..you get this DOS Process (Address to which DOS will mail process if accepted on behalf of the entity) DSD HOMES CORP.
