Looking for good architect for carriage house

I recently purchased a Clinton Hill carriage house and need some good architects to check out. The space is pretty much a raw warehouse now, and needs some good vision, but also someone who knows the neighborhood, and Brooklyn in general, and the ins and outs of restorations, including zoning laws, restrictions, etc. It’s an interesting space because the outside is old, but inside is bare bones right now. Suggestions would be incredibly helpful.

For starters, I’d go through the directory on this site, check out the various architects’ portifolios, and see which ones resonate with you.  I just took a quick look and of the ones listed, Mesh and Red Top Architects are excellent, IMO.

Hi there, if you are looking for vision, I would strongly suggest Architensions. The principal there has extensive experience working for a star architect (Steven Holl) before starting his own firm. He is also very familiar with Clinton Hill as I know he currently lives there and done had quite a few projects in the area. He has done soe work for me and I am very satisfied. I’ll recommend Jim Hill of Urban Pioneering Architecture — he’s very code/DOB saavy, and has recently designed a new carriage house in Clinton Hill (414 Waverly).
