Leaf Catcher for Drain?
A have a 7’x5′ ditch below my porch that drains rain water. I’ve tried every type of cover to prevent leaves from clogging it. I’m now thinking to have a custom made mesh wire device to traps the leaves, yet allows the water to enter. I want it to extend the entire length, yet fold out to allow me to trap and discard the leaves for removal. Would any one know where I can get someone to make this?

Fiberglass screening is a fine mesh, same as the old metal mesh used on windows to keep insects out. Of course it lets water through.

I went online to view the fiberglass screening, yet I don’t believe that it allows water to penetrate?

DIY using staked fiberglass screening or landscape fabric. Both available at hardware stores, Lowes, HD.
