ISO: recommendations for Concrete Contractor or Mason for exterior job

Hi All, We’re seeking estimates and a recommendation for a concrete contractor or mason for a 300 sq ft slab in our backyard.  Our contractor indicated that his sub quoted $10 a sq foot to break up and remove the old concrete and pour and finish the new.  Does this sound about right?

Sounds spot on and maybe even low if you are in a fully attached house and all debris has to be brought out through the house.
