CO2/ electrical question
i have this rental property which has electrical fire / co2 detectors that are brand new as well as the entire electrical panel. My basement CO2 detector keeps going off and only that one. THere is no gas at all on in the peroperty and there is no cars idling in the area and there is nothing else burning in the house. The house is fully detached Gas company finds no reading on their machines and my battery operated CO2 detectors are not going off.. what could this be? the basement detector has been replaced twice with a new one

Check the date code on the CO detector. They don’t last forever, typically only 5 years. They may have been installed recently but could have been sitting in a warehouse for 4 years. They typically send false positives or start chirping at the end of their life.

I have found that CO detecetors seem to be a bit tempermental in terms of humidity. Is the basement damp?

I do not know if Radon might set it off. Another problem is that the detectors should all be interconnected.
