360 Clinton Avenue

Hi all- I’ve been looking to purchase a one-bedroom in the Fort Greene, Clinton Hill or Prospect Heights areas and I came across a pre-war building: 360 Clinton Avenue.  It seems so beautiful and charming and I want to attend an open house there this weekend.  Can anyone familiar with this co-op building let me a bit about it?  How it is run?  Do they increase the maintenance often?  What does the maintence fees include?  Any info would be so greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Hi, That building was featured in a Brownstoner “co-op of the day” a few years ago: http://brownstoner.staging.wpengine.com/blog/2008/11/coop-of-the-day-164/ I have been inside one of those apartments, and it seemed okay, but other than that I can’t speak from experience.  You might want to check out the Clinton Hill Co-Ops (directly across the street from 360 Clinton, and also on Clinton between Willoughby and Myrtle).  Those coops seem comparable in maintenance fees (at least judging from that 2008 Brownstoner post).  The Clinton Hill Coops don’t look like anything to write home about from the outside, but inside the apartments are well laid out, and suprisingly nice in a pre-war feel kind of way…  I lived in 185 Clinton for about 10 years, and I found the building well maintained, the neighbors great, and I liked my apartment.
