Scope of Work

Hi – My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a home from a developer.  The deal involves certain improvements to be made to the property by the developer/seller prior to closing.  We are working on preparing a scope of work for inclusion in the contract. I wanted to reach out to the forum to see if there is a place that you can direct me to where I can find a laundry list of items for inclusion in a scope of work when renovating a townhouse.  We have a  high-level understanding  with the seller re the improvements we want but I think that memorializing those items in the contract needs to be done at a more granualr level.  Any thoughts? Be as specific as you can in the contract. It’s impossible to anticipate everything in advance but the more you include, the fewer arguments you’ll have later.

Is the home currently under contruction or has the developer completed their work and now you are creating additional items to be done?
