Where can I look at iron gates?

We need to have a gate made for under our stoop.  I see recommendations for different iron workers but do they all have shops where I can go and look at the actual gates? I’m not sure exactly what I want.  Anyone have a ballpark number? Thanks!

I needed a gate for my window in the back of my home, so I walked around my neighborhood and took a photo of a nice one up the street.  My iron work guy copied it and installed.

Why dont you just find a salvaged one? Check out NY Old Iron (next to Lowes) under the F train. They probably have a nice historic one that will fit. You’ll need to get someone to install it.
