IKEA kitchen install and flooring refinish subcontractor

Hello fellow B-stoners! Hoping you can help me find a reasonably priced subcontractor/carpenter for two (with a possible third) upcoming jobs in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The first would be an install of an IKEA kitchen, and the second job is a carpet removal, and sanding + staining the wood subfloor throughout a 2,600 sqft brownstone. (the optional third job would involve stripping paint from wood molding, if this person had experience doing that). Would be great if we could have one person do both jobs, but two separate individuals would be fine as well. Would prefer someone who is licensed and insured. (I know there???s not much that can go wrong with such basic work, but better to cover your bases) Thanks again!

I would go with two separate people for the job. Don’t use general contractors. Get a kitchen installer to do the kitchen. I have a friend whose business is just installing Ikea kitchens. Do a search online for Basic Builders. He’s out of NJ, but does NY jobs. Definitely get a flooring specialist for floors. I’ve made the mistake of using a general contractor type for that and it was a mess. I’m soon to have someone who was recommended here install and finish a floor.
