Carpenter Need for Exterior Turret
Can anyone recommend a competent and licensed carpenter to repair and partially replace the exterior trim on row house turret? Yes, this row ouse has a turret! Not looking for anyone too fancy, just someone to remove and replace the rotted wood and NOT ruin the house in the process.

I can recommend you a website where you can find a good carpenter. I used it when I needed a window cleaner and it was very fast and easy to navigate and find the proper contractor. Here is a list of the professionals who may help you: https://www.hirerush.com/anywhere/service/carpenter

and depending on how high it is, the contractor who does it may be spending a bit on insurance – so he is going to be pricey. Not his fault or anything, but my insurance prohibits me from climbing more than 2 stories and after that it goes up. You may wish to look for someone who does this kind exterior work as opposed to just looking for a carpenter. some of us do not like to work above the ground. you need a company with safety training and the right fall protection and insurance and maybe even their own scaffold or the ability to rent a lift. remember, if this is on the front of the house and something goes wrong, and someone on the sidewalk get hurt, there will be big problems. steve

The expense of a job like this in this day & age is the scaffold, so you might as well do it right the first time.
