Wood stripping/refinishing

Park slope paint strippers did a bunch of corbels for me as well as a door & they all look great.

I had four wood mantels stripped by Anthony at Sunset Wood Strippers 718-798-0273\. They look brand new..from several layers of paint over 100+ years.

We used Degamba to strip a metal grate. A very small job, but they did a good job and I went to their “workshop” in Park Slope, which is basically a basement (the guy who did the actual work was very nice and gave me some special sealant that’s heat resistant to finish the grate). I suppose they do lots of jobs on site so don’t need a big in-house operation. I did call first for an estimate and the guy who answered was very nice, so I’d give them a call. I also called Park Slope Paint Strippers, but they’ve moved to NJ (if I remember right).
