The terms you are using to describe the exisitng surface (and what you want to install) are not too specific. If you mean stripping the exisitng coating to bare brownstone and then coating with a specialized browstone coating then you are looking at approximately $20-22/SF. But don’t forget that a substantial part of the renovation cost will be rigging the facade with scaffolding, which may account for even half of the cost of the repair.
