Outside concrete stair to cellar

I need to build a staircase from outside my house to the cellar (below the english basement)–I am trying to find someone to do the work who has done this type of work before and also to ask someone who has had it done a question about drainage at the foot of the stair:.  Can anyone recomend a contractor to do this? And,  is your drain attached to a sewerage pipe?  If not, do you get flooding? thanks

Just be careful before you start.city requires shoring after 4′ depth.If you goig to have a new stair to cellar probably you going to excavate 8′ or more. There is a house on 4th street between 5th & 6th ave (park slope) that did this a few years ago.  Its on the left hand side a little closer to 5th as you go down the street.  If you don’t get what your looking for on the fourm, it could be a good place to start.;
