NEST thermostat
I have a ten volt exsisting boiler, and I would like to upgrade to a NEST thermostat. The NEST requires 24 volt power, can anyone refer us to someone that can add a transformer to our system? We would really like to use the NEST thermostat.

Ok. I’ve never heard of a 10-volt thermostat. Are you sure? In some advanced systems, there are zero-to-ten-volt DC modulating thermostats, which you don’t have. You may also have a millivolt (mV) thermostat, but the boiler would also have to run on mV. Check it out.

Oh, no it is the current thermostat that is 10 volt, and the NEST needs 24 volts. How do we add a transformer?
