Mold from unfindable Leak...Need recommendations..

One of the upper apartments in 3 unit building in Windsor Terrace has mold.  We have had water issues for a while.  I’ve had the roof completely replaced by Nick and Leakmaster and have had the windows facing the room that has the mold resealed.  Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who can help find the source of the moisture? Thanks for everyone’s response.  We ended up calling the roofer back.  Leaks were 1) Snow build-up leaking into airvent 2) Frozen gutter getting under roof. Short term solutions: 1) Extend air vent on roof 2) Use a heat line to prevent freezing in the gutter and keep the drain pipe clear.   Best. – Nick

How did you determine you had mold? Were there visible signs? We’ve had a similarly mysterious leak problem and I’m planning on hiring American Leak Detection. Since I haven’t used them yet, I can’t recommend them but it might be worth looking into.

I recommend using a moisture meter.  You can buy one cheap, but the cheap ones don’t last.  You can buy a better one for about $100\.  Or, you can call me for a free consultation.  I will be working in your area next week.  I will find the wettest places.  This, and my experience, will help identify the source of the moisture.
