House noises?

 My house makes a lot of noise, sometimes it creaks sometimes it makes a loud clicking noise. It is like living in a creaky boat out at sea. It’s not the plumbing, that is something else. Does anyone else have this happening?

Old houses settle, or so I have heard.  Our floors sometimes creak and one door in particluar always swings open with the slightest hint of wind. We have sort of grown to enjoy these little quirks of our old house.   I

The floors are the best, when you walk on them. Occasioanlly I will hear a piece of rubble fall in the party wall!!!!  My flat screen LCD TV makes noises too!
