Any ideas (other than craigslist/ebay) for old hot water radiators, tall and columnar? 13x13x48 high, or so?

I am looking for old radiators, to go in a tight corner, needs to be 13wx13dx36-48″ high, does anyone have any suggestions where I can look other than craigslist and ebay?

Take a look at KEVIN & RICHARD PLUMBING SUPPLY INC 653 MYRTLE AVE BROOKLYN, NY (718) 222-1581 I have used them for years. They have old decorative radiators and can order new, not so fancy ones. After I got mine I took them to EverNu metal finishers, near Greenwood Cemetery, and had them sandblasted and then powder coated. They look fantastic.

Try the scrap metal places. They will often separate the rads from other scrap and hold for re-sale.

Try contacting some local contractors.  I’m sure many of them work on gut jobs and remove plenty of radiators and could proabably keep an eye out for what you need–I think those things often just get trashed anyway.
