In addition to the photo attached, I have five photos for view – see the links below. Does anyone know the name of this iron element – found around doors of old some tenement buildings? Any leads on learning ANYTHING more about them – their history, how they’re manufactured, how they’re installed, if they’re structural at all, or who manufactured them? Any thoughts about where I could find a place with them – or a place that would make them (using any variety of materials)?
