Sustainable East New York

Hello, does anyone have info or opinion about the sustainable development plans taking place in East New York? Do you think that this will take place and seem like a liable option, or is it just a dead plan from the getgo? I don’t really hear anyone talking about it nor there’s not much about it online, which I find confusing as one would think that with such plans in process, the interest towards the neighborhood would be a much greater. http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcp/html/sustainable_communities/sustain_com2.shtml
