Solar Power

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone has feedback on solar companies. I am getting estimates on solar panels for new construction on a one family home in Brooklyn. I sent my info to a couple of companies, Quixotic sent me a proposal but Empower Solar was a disaster. They said they would have an estimate in a week and after at least a dozen calls over a month later nothing (every time I call, the contact is “in a meeting”). I would like at least one other reputable company to compare services with. thanks

OnForce solar was very responsive to my inquiry. They were also quick to say that my roof wasn’t suitable, didn’t have enough light.

I was dealing with Bobby. He said I would have an estimate by the end of the week. I called the following Monday and they said he was having an operation and it went south from there. Many calls with others saying someone would get back to me. I left a message with the owner and still nothing. How about we are to busy right now or some other explanation. It has now been over a month. If the came back with a better price now, I don’t think I could trust them at this point. What would happen if the system didn’t work and they had my money? Maybe they are move attentive to commercial clients. Thanks j

Not to exonerate Empower, but they are extremely busy right now. They signed a contract to be the provider for Solarize Brooklyn and are building 23 systems right now just in our neighborhood. We went as far as we could with them for our Coop before we finally decided not to go solar yet. Give Bobby a call at (516) 837-3459 x 121\.
