Recommendation to Re-finish Wood Stairs

Hi! I removed carpeting from the staircase leading from the basement to the parlor floor, and attempted to remove paint/varnish from the stairs. However, the risers also have a dark adhesive that also needs to be removed, and this all seems way beyond my “expertise.” Does anyone know of someone who could help remove the adhesive/varnish and re-finish the stairs? They are a real eyesore and I’d like to find a good contractor to help me…

DeGamba did mine about 30 years ago – good job & reasonable price.

Here’s another pic – 13 steps total. I also stripped the wood molding on the side, and it would be great if I could get someone to do both at once! The whole house has great, albeit painted over time and time again, Eastlake molding that I am looking to strip and restore as well.
