recommendation of painters to repaint cornice?

they would need to be fully insured; and have equipment to get up to it. looking for real experiences of real homeowners, versus shills. thanks!

I’ve used Taz for this sort of thing. He has a rigging license – which is necessary if its the cornice you need painted. He’s done exterior painting for me and re-pointing. Also replaced my drain pipe. His prices are reasonable and he’s a pleasure to work with. I’ve recommended him on this site before and to neighbors who were happy with the work he did for them. Good to know about Jonathan. How about trying one of the masonry outfits who do brownstone facades? While painting isn’t their primary skill, they certainly have the equipment and when we redid our facade the job included repainting the cornice.

i totally agree on barsness; he did our interior and all looks/is great. but he unfortunately doesn’t do exteriors. paint professionals tend to be either/or I’m told regarding interior/exterior. requires different equipment/ladders; different insurance. yadda yadda. But thanks, he and his crew were great inside.
